August Jewel Of The Month

Jewels of the month for August are my Studded Ear Climber earrings. I've now added these elegant earrings in gold.

I'm a little bit obsessed with studs and they make an appearance in a lot of my jewellery. My love of silver studded detailing on jewellery started when I first began my jewelling journey out in Rajasthan, India. There is a lot of stunning old, tribal silver jewellery out there and I loved the balled silver detail on much of it. That jewellery really lodged itself in the inspiration room of my brain and continues to influence some of my work.

There is something so satisfying and bold about studs. With these earrings, I wanted to incorporate studs in something elegant and feminine. I love the recent new styles of earrings. The ear climber and ear jacket style have opened up a whole new way of dressing your ears. For an earring-adorer like me, that brings me mucho joy!
