Kingman Turquoise Silver Samatha Necklace

Samatha translates as “tranquility of the mind” and is a meditation practice that involves single-pointed focus. The pieces in my Samatha collection have been created to remind whomever wears them to redirect their attention to a single thing, such as their breath. I will include a note with each item with a little, simple Samatha meditation that can be practiced whenever you gaze upon your jewels.

This irregular shaped Kingman turquoise has been set in sterling silver with a silver dot at the base to inspire single pointed focus. Turquoise is such an anciently revered stone and was prized by many civilisations as a symbol of wisdom and nobility and worn for luck and protection.

It hangs at 18”. The pendant is 26mm high and 20mm wide.
