This breathtaking and beautifully formed bronze necklace was discovered in a Danish bog. It's haunting my dreams.
Apart from the fact that I want it all for myself, I am plagued with a desire to follow the necklace back through time to its creation. I would love to meet the owner of the hands that formed this contorted piece of loveliness. It would be hard enough to make now (would probably be made using anticlastic raising, a technique I'm petrified of!) but I would love to see how such a perfect creation was formed in prehistoric times. I wonder who it was made for and what she wore it with.
There's hardly any information online about it. If anyone has anymore details about it, please share.
